Refractive Surgery
"Can't my glasses be thinner?" . . . "I would love to get out these contact lenses." . . . "My
kids want me to go swimming in the ocean with them." . . . "What would I do if there was an
emergency at night and I couldn't find my glasses?"
Since glasses were first invented, people have dreamed of getting out of them. Contact
lenses solve a lot of problems, but not for everyone. For almost twenty years, Jervey Eye
Group has led the way in surgically improving vision in the Upstate. Like so many things,
achieving world-class results depends on world-class preparation. From educational seminars
to web-site links to individual counseling, Jervey leads the way in helping you make the right
decision about your eyes. Thanks to rapid advances in techniques, the chance is there for you
to wake up and see better without glasses or contact lenses.

revolutionary and reversible technique for altering your prescription. For more information,
visit our shared site with EVCC.
The Doctors
Dr. William Ballinger and
Dr. Blake Myers have performed and researched
refractive surgery options during the past five years and have access to the newest equipment
and techniques. They have worked at Emory Vision Correction Center in Atlanta for the past
three years, a site with a history of over 10,000 refractive cases done. Their goal is to
match Jervey Eye's reputation for world-class eye care with the rapid changes and success in
refractive surgery.
