Ophthalmic Assistant

Our large eye care group seeks competent and compassionate professionals to join our superior staff in state of the art facilities. Assistants perform tasks such as vision testing, history taking and special procedures. The successful candidate will have at least one year experience in the field. COA preferred, not required. Contact lens experience a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are highly desirable. No weekends. Excellent benefits including in-house education programs.

Training Position - Fellowship for Ophthalmic Assistant
Jervey Eye Group is offering a unique opportunity for training as an Ophthalmic assistant. Students will rotate with our diverse group of eye care providers for six months. They will receive formal and individual instruction in basic science subjects, routine visual care and diagnostic procedures. Students will receive a stipend and support for training materials during the course. This is a competitive position and applicants will be carefully evaluated and tested. Upon successful completion of the training period, students will be obligated to work as an ophthalmic assistant for Jervey Eye Group as a regular full time employee. Optical Tech
Our large eye care group seeks competent and compassionate professionals to join our superior staff in state of the art facilities on the Eastside of Greenville. Optical Techs perform tasks such as lens and frame selection, fitting, and dispensing. Rx order entry is done on OfficeMate Enterprise software. The successful candidate will have at least five years experience in the field. ABOC or State License preferred, not required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. No weekends. Excellent benefits including in-house education programs.
