Surgery CenterOur state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) allows us to provide a full range of services to our patients. It has received accreditation by AAAHC, Medicare/Medicaid, and DHEC licensing. Over 3000 successful procedures are performed in our facility each year, including cataract extraction, intra-ocular lens placement, eye muscle surgery, various types of occuloplastic surgery, cornea transplants, retinal, glaucoma, and LASIK. Opened in 1999, our ASC was the first privately held, physican-owned ophthalmic surgery center in the Upstate of SC. Having our own facility allows us to provide a full range of services to our patients. Our highly qualified staff of nurses, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the support staff involved in your care give you the highest quality surgical eye care available. In addition, we can uniquely offer the patient one bill that covers all services. |
